Venue hire fee

To ensure we deliver the perfect function for you, we charge a flat fee of $550 to cover:

Exclusive venue hiring with free car park onsite
Full AV package including projector, high volume speakers, smoke machine, disco lighting and PA system
Early venue access for setting up (2 hours prior to the guest arrival)
Clean-up at the end of your event
Complimentary welcome sign, cake stable with stands & photoback drop

Security Guard

All night functions with a finishing time after 11.00 pm require a security guard at $220, this is to ensure the safety of your guests, our staff members and the nearby residents.

Minimum spend for food and beverage

$3500	For Saturday nights, public holidays, and evenings before public holidays
$2500	For Friday nights, Saturday days and Sundays
$1500	All other times

* All December bookings will have an additional $500 minimum spend

Cakes and kids meal

We are always happy for you to bring in your cake for the special occasion, along with additional sweets. We will set up the cake and dessert table for you. Our kids meal is $15 includes chips & nuggets, ice-cream, juice and popcorn.

Cake cutting and serving

You are always welcome to bring cakes along with some other desserts. We do not charge a fee for cutting the cake, however, please bring paper plates and wooden forks if you wish for the cake to be served individually.

Car park

We have 40 plus private car parks on-site for you and your guests to use. If you have had a bit too much and want to leave your car here, that is absolutely fine, you can come back and pick it up the next day.

Process of booking and cancellation

To secure the venue, we require a deposit of $500, and the balance is required 3 days prior to the event. Full refund is available for cancellations over 2 months, and 50% between 1-2 month. Unfortunately, we do not offer any refund for cancellations within a month, as there is no guarantee we will be able to re-sell the date.

Q&A

What time do I have to finish my event?
For daytime events, we normally ask you to finish by 5.00pm so we have adequate time to turn around the venue for the night event. For night events, we will turn down the music to background level and call the last drinks at midnight, and close the venue by 1.00am.
Can I play my own music?
Yes, our sound system can be connected with 3.5mm jack, iPhone and C-type connection. We ask you to prepare 2 different playlist sets, one for the background music, one for your favourite dance music. However, please do note that we have noise control in place after 11.00pm due to the close proximity to the apartment building, but it will be still good enough for a dance party. DJ is allowed for weddings & engagements.
What is the most common package?
This depends on the type of events. For weddings, engagement parties, where you would like to fully cater your event, we would recommend to go with at least 8 selection of canapés and 5 hours BYO beverage package. For 21st, 30th or where you try to stay within the minimum spend, we recommend to go with 6 selection of canapés, and a limited bar tab then turn into a cash bar once tab finished.

Beverage package

At Four Larks, you have great flexibility in choosing a beverage package. You can either choose an all-inclusive beverage package, beverage on consumption or you know what! BRING YOUR OWN!

BYO beverage package (excluding spirits)

The BYO beverage package allows you to bring in your favourite champagnes, wines, beers and ciders for your event. All drinks will be kept and serviced behind the bar by our professional bar staff. It also includes all soft drinks and juices. (minimum 4 hours)

Every hour after will be charged at $5 per person per hour, for example:

4 hours BYO package is $20 per person

5 hours BYO package is $25 per person

6 hours BYO package is $30 per person

All-inclusive beverage package (excluding spirits)

$45 per person	For 4 hours of beverage service
$55 per person	For 5 hours of beverage service
$65 per person	For 6 hours of beverage service

*Our house wine package is Jacob’s Creek from South Australia. Then you name your favourite beer, and we will have it ready!

Beverage on Consumption (bar tab)

Beverages to be charged on a consumption basis at the bar price as a tab. Once the bar tab is finished, your guests can purchase drinks individually..

Spirits and cocktails on arrival?

Spirits and cocktails are always available for bar tab or individual purchase in any of the packages. Cocktail on arrival can also be arranged at a discounted price.

Canapés package

Thank you for considering Four Larks as the venue for your forthcoming celebration. The venue can comfortably hold cocktail functions for up to 100 guests, with designated dance floor. It is perfect for celebrations such as birthdays, engagements and weddings.
Our canapé package starts from $35 per person and includes a large selection of different and exciting hot and cold choices, as well as substantial options to feed your guests a bit more than just canapés.

Four Larks buffet package

The venue can comfortably hold seated function up to 40 guests, with separated pre-function area for drinks and canapés, and dance floor once table service is finished. Our buffet package starts from $69 per person including the following:

Antipasto Platter with bread and dips
Asian corner: Steamed prawn dumpling and Peking duck wrap

Grazing table

A grazing table can be a great feature and the highlight for your function. It also creates a “WOW” at the front door. We can fill up our two meter long beautiful wooden bench with a variety of grazing options including cheese, antipasto, fruits and our specially designed canapés.

The cost to order a grazing table for your function is $450, it includes the following 12 platters:

Smoked salmon spread, crostini with lightly tossed baby potato, carrot and broccolini x 2

This busy cafe during the day becomes party central at night. Secluded and conveniently located on the city's edge, Four Larks is perfect for celebrating any kind of important event where you want to feel at home without the stress of a clean up.

The 109 Box Hill/Port Melbourne tram stops outside the front door, making transport a breeze. You and your guests will have access to a full exclusive bar, rustic bluestone dance floor space and a sound system with iPod and laptop capabilities. And you will love this - a private courtyard for sipping and nibbling under the stars in the gorgeous alfresco air.

The kitchen takes utmost pride in creating an interesting tapas and finger food selection with a full range of international flavours. There is a range of mouth watering dishes and platters to choose from.

The venue is ideal for cocktail parties up to 120 guests with designated bluestone dance floor space, as well as separate area for those who like to chat.
